Mercer International, Inc. (MERC)

Mercer International, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the manufacture and sale of pulp. Its products include northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp, kraft pulp, and market pulp. The company operates three NBSK pulp mills, including the Rosenthal mill and the Stendal mill in Germany, as well as Celgar mill in Canada. Mercer International distributes its products primarily in Germany, Italy, Asia, North America, and rest of Europe. The company was founded in 1968 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
