Evolving Gold is focused on its discovery property - Rattlesnake Hills, in Wyoming. Assay results for the first three holes reveal an intersection of 2.48 Grams/Tonne over 146 Meters. The Company has completed a 15 hole, 7,000 meter drilling program on this property with further assay results coming out over the next months. Evolving has the option to acquire 100% of the Rattlesnake Hills project.
Evolving also has 8 other gold properties primarily in Nevada including a lease agreement with Newmont Mining Corporation on four prospective gold properties (North Carlin District Properties) located within the prolific Carlin Gold Trend. Evolving Gold has over $18 million in its treasury.
Evolving Gold has several things going for them that make them one of the better drilling speculations, imo. Some of them mgmt/geo team comes from Newmont, they have ~$17MM in cash, excellent prior drill results, three rigs running on the property right now, potential for a very large deposit that shows characteristics that are common with the 20MM ounce Cripple Creek deposit in Colorado. There are no sure things in this business but these guys have a lot of the success factors in place. Looking forward to what the drills have to say.
