General Metals Corporation is an aggressive junior minerals exploration and development company, based in Reno, Nevada. The Company is actively exploring its 100% controlled Independence property strategically located in the prolific and highly prospective Battle Mountain Mining District, Nevada. Permitting and Engineering for heap leach production is underway at the Independence Mine. The Company also owns 150 sq. km. of mining concessions for gold, diamonds and base metals in Ghana, West Africa and plans to provide development opportunities this year.
Let's see -- a 240 acre island in the middle of Newmont's Phoenix mine (largest gold producing mine in USA), 100% drilling success rate in 2007 with above industry standard drill hole figures, historically significant gold producing region in Nevada, recently acquired acreage in ROW diamond producing region, SEVERELY undervalued stock price, management with lengthy experience in mining industry (founders of Goldspring - GSPG - recent discovery of potential motherlode in Comstock region of Nevada) AND if that weren't enough, gold is climbing back toward $1000/oz with management committed to getting things into production stage ASAP -- I'M A BUYER OF GNMT FROM HERE TO SUNDOWN!!
It has been hard getting boiled down progress report on this company in the news, but the 3' interview did much to correct this. I have a bullish feeling about the prospects of this company, given the rising price of gold, silver, etc. and the price of this stock looks like it is potentially greatly undervalued.
